Our gratitude is rooted in a long history of collaboration. From 2000 to 2020, Soaringwords worked alongside extraordinary nurses and Child Life Directors in 196 hospitals worldwide, delivering expressive arts programs to children and families when they needed it most.<\/p>\n
The spirit of this work traces back to Florence Nightingale\u2014a pioneer whose courage and innovation reshaped healthcare. During the Crimean War, she identified the devastating impact of poor hygiene and introduced practices like handwashing, clean bedding, and proper nutrition\u2014reducing mortality rates from 47% to 2%.
