Spring Ahead

Have you recently noticed a spring in your step? Are you mildly confused about when you need to turn the clocks ahead—or if you need to turn the clocks at all for that matter? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then surely spring is upon us. This Sunday, just hours after I’ll finish munching on popcorn while watching my favorite actors walk the red carpet and accept their Oscars at the Academy Awards, the vernal equinox will mark the official start of spring.

In the coming weeks, I look forward to enjoying one of my favorite seasonal rituals of walking underneath a luscious canopy of hundreds of cherry blossom trees in Central Park. During these early days of spring, I often feel like a detective discovering new patches of purple, yellow, and white crocuses and tulips starting to bloom. As an early riser, I especially cherish the bright light of the morning Sun accompanying me on my daily walk to the gym.

Each time a flower blossoms, the world is reminded that there is beauty in new beginnings. At Soaringwords, our days are chock-full of activity to launch the SOARING Into Positive Wellbeing Initiative—a series of virtual asynchronous workshops that we’ve created, filmed, edited, and promoted for the past 14 months. Earlier this week, we led our first onboarding session for administrators, nurses, social workers, and recreational therapists at long-term care facilities, gearing up for the official launch on April 1.

What’s about to blossom in your garden?
